About Cheryl Beeney

I absolutely love a party! —especially designing and planning them. Working with you to create the wedding day you’ve always dreamed of is my passion. I believe every wedding or event should reflect your personality. By getting to know you personally, I can ensure your celebration is as unique as you. My favourite phrase is ‘think out of the box’. Not everyone wants a copy and paste wedding, which is where I come in.

Beyond weddings you’ll often find me going for long walks on the Norfolk Coast with my family & Cockapoo called Peanut. I have a creative side too, helping my florist friends with big projects. I’m always the one organising the family get together or Girl’s night out.

My favourite film has always been Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, so I guess I was destined to have a career in weddings. I’ve worked in the wedding industry since 2001. In 2013 I helped create a new Norfolk wedding venue, Hautbois Hall, where I continue to run as the Venue Manager. This enabled me to design a venue that is flexible for everyone’s budget and ideas.

One sentence sums it about Cheryl…. YOU NEED HER IN YOUR LIFE. Being a typical male I underestimated what a wedding entails, let alone the attention to details that is needs. My (now) wife really wanted a wedding planner and I relented. Wow! thank god I did. The closer the wedding became the more I realised there was a lot more to it than saying I do. I know this may sound naïve but this is actually what I thought. As the questions about all sorts of things kept flying in, we felt lost. Quick conversations with Cheryl put pay to all of that. Above all she gave us re-assurance and confidence in what to do and made it about what we wanted. Her experience and confidence in what she does not only shined through but also added a sense of calm to what we wanted to be a perfect day, not only for us but for our friends and family. It wasn’t until after wedding that we realised not one supplier asked us anything on the day. Cheryl literally had control of it all, we got to enjoy every minute. Having Cheryl take care over the details really allowed us both to enjoy our special day… I would go so far to say it’s a false economy not to have her. Spending all the money on suppliers and then having to run you own day doesn’t make sense. I couldn’t recommend her enough. Thank you Cheryl

We all had the perfect day at Hautbois Hall for our wedding that was planned at short notice with just a 5 week turn around! Despite that short notice of our wedding, Cheryl helped to make our day special and recommended food and flower suppliers that we ended up using successfully, and coordinated the whole day with little input due to the short timeframe. Cheryl was attentive to our guests and made the day perfect for all. Thanks again for all your help!
